Water Water Everywhere...

The water bill seems to have tripled since we moved into our home twenty two years ago...
The First Sergeant has the task of watering all the flowers each evening, if there has been no rainfall.

The birdbaths are topped-off every day. I used to think the water just evaporated, but I have been paying closer attention, and now I know why.

The visiting birds, bathe daily, and with vitality....
Splashing water everywhere, not once but many times.

When several birds bathe at the same time, the water is everywhere, I think it is especially sweet, when they dunk their heads beneath.

Your birdbaths are all beautiful Jo...I have 4 to keep water in myself...I have seen deer, fox, and squirrels drink from them here!
Beautiful photos!

My birdies were splashing the water so vigorously that my entire front porch was bathed (that's where the drinking water is), so I've been forced to put a screen on top to keep the splashing down, but they still do it! It's fun to watch, I agree.

Your birdbaths and garden is so lovely.
I love to watch the birds frolicking in the birdbaths, sometimes they use the little stream by our house...I've been trying to get some pictures!

I wouldn't enjoy the water bill, but I would certainly enjoy the birds. I love to watch them bathe, splash, and play.

Neat Birdbath... I have to clean and refill my birdbath most every day or two in the summer. They do love it---and they do splash it out!!!!!

Cute post.
