Congratulations Nashville Public Television.

In a recent post, I spoke about my fondness for the Public Broadcasting Service, and all the superb programs and documentaries that are aired.

To my delight, I find our local Public Television Station has just been awarded nine Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards !

Betsy, you may be interested in two wonderful videos that were produced by NPT.
One is "Beautiful Tennessee", an hour long documentary exploring the poetic natural landscape of Tennessee. It is narrated by the legendry country music songwriter Tom T. Hall.

The other video Beautiful Tennessee: Our Scenic Waterways, an hour long documentary featuring the journey of Tennessee's waterways from the Appalachian Mountains, to the mighty Mississippi, narrated by country music artist Kathy Mattea.

Both are an absolute delight !

I agree that Nashville PBS deserves congratulations for a job well done. I only regret that we can't pick it up here on the Plateau.

Hi Josephine. Was Heathcliff (Tom Hardy) the same actor that played Robert in Queen Elizabeth I? He is soooo good.
